Vocationally specific pre-employment training
As part of the Young Person's Guarantee, Care Training East Midlands and Central Skills can provide you with people who have undergone pre-employment training that is appropriate to your organisation.

Pre-employment training we offer >>

Funded training once in work
You may be able to access funds for your new recruit to complete work-based qualifications in an industry-specific subject, such as an NVQ or Apprenticeship.

In-work training we offer >>

Placements
You could take on a volunteer to support your permanent staff. Placements can be for a few days a week and a volunteer can be available at little or no notice.

After the placement there is no obligation to employ the person permanently. If you do choose to employ them it is entirely under your own recruitment terms.

I had one person come to me to complete her NVQ while on a placement and she was so good I decided to employ her.
Diane Pedwell, Westdale Kids Club.
