Step-by-step guide to improving Literacy and numeracy levels in your organisation
1 The Employer Engagement Team will meet with you to complete a Training Needs Assessment. As an employer-led organisation, this will establish how Care Training and Central Skills can develop a training plan tailored to your business and its needs.
2 Your staff will complete Initial Assessments within your workplace. This will establish who out of your employees require training and to what level.
4 Results are quickly assessed, allowing a very efficient start to the training. We tailor and deliver training to meet individual needs. This serves to benefit both employees and the efficiency of your workforce.
5 A tutor will work with you to establish a timetable that works around your workforce. This will take into consideration subject areas that are crucial to your employees and their job role. Together you will agree on a suitable target date for your employees to obtain their target level.
6 Training can be delivered at your workplace if there is room available. All we need is a blank wall and we will bring it all along – the classroom-in-a-box provides the resources. Tutors and trainees can work through modules together, taking it in turns to use the eBeam technology. It makes for a more interactive training session and nothing like a school classroom.
7 Final tests can be done either in the workplace or in our learning centre; again this can be done at the convenience to your organisation and workforce.
