Finding a job
An NVQ is on the job learning so requires you to be working in a care setting. You can visit http://www.cqc.org.uk/ to search for registered care provisions in your local area.

NVQ in Health & Social Care Level 2
This qualification is aimed at home care assistants, community support assistants, healthcare assistants and residential or day service assistants.
You will increase in confidence and your professional development can help enhance the quality of care.

NVQs in Health & Social Care Level 3
This qualification is aimed at people who often work without direct supervision or on their own, perhaps in a user's own home.
The course will enhance your personal development and help you undertake your role with greater confidence. On completion, you may gain admission to various other occupations in care and be a valued member of a care team.
The Level 3 includes a pathway for adults and one for children and young people:

For Adults
This pathway is appropriate for senior care workers, healthcare workers, home care organisers and community support workers.
