We have been meeting the training needs of companies and individuals since 1995.
Since then we've grown dramatically. In 2008 we acquired a large warehouse in Bilborough, Nottingham, and in November 2009 we moved to Clinton House in Nottingham City Centre, which has over 8,000 sq. ft. of training, testing and advice space across 4 floors. We also provide training in Derby, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
The warehouse in Bilborough, called Central Skills, delivers a variety of warehousing and logistics training and qualifications. Central Skills is a sister company to Care Training East Midlands (CTEM) and combines CTEM's experience of work-based training and supporting people into work with Central Skills' knowledge of warehousing and logistics.
Care Training East Midlands moved headquarters to Clinton House, on Derby Road, in November 2009. The attractive, larger new premises stand in a prime location within easy walking distance of Nottingham City Centre as well as having good access to public transport and the main roads into Nottingham.
The fantastic new facilities include a 1,650 sq. ft. e-learning centre along with several multi-purpose classrooms. Alex Ford, Managing Director says, “With recently securing a large contract to support people into work, there was a desire for a state-of-the-art, contemporary space to continuously develop the support to our learners.”
Our learning areas are bright, modern and inspiring. We use pioneering technology to engage adult learners in a variety of innovative ways, as well as more traditional group and one-to-one work.
Our building is fully DDA compliant and is equipped with a variety of AbilityNet™ hardware and software. We have helped learners with a variety of learning disabilities, challenges and needs.
We have strong and sustainable links with communities throughout Nottingham and we work closely with national organisations like the Learning and Skills Council (LSC), the European Social Fund (ESF), Ufi and Jobcentre Plus. Visit our partners page for more details.
