Our Learner Voice Campaign

Care Training and Central Skills make sure we listen to our learners and respond to their suggestions.

We provide suitable opportunities for learners to provide us with feedback and express their ideas. What is more, we want to make sure our learners know they can do this at their own comfort and ease, whether that is face to face with an adviser or anonymously.

The Learner Voice campaign is an initiative to raise awareness of these opportunities to our learners. Although they have always been present we want to make sure all our learners know about the various channels and utilise them with their ideas and suggestions.

Our learner voice is present in:

  • Evaluation forms after training sessions
  • Suggestions box in each of our centres
  • Learners can send us anonymous feedback and messages by texting 07537 402 400. The text must start with CTEMX.
  • Annual anonymous questionnaires to a random selection of learners across a variety of training
  • Individual Learning Plans tailored to individual needs

Safeguarding

Learner voice also includes safeguarding. Care Training and Central Skills has a duty of care to all our learners. It is of vital importance that all staff are trained to recognise any signs that a learner may be in danger or distress. Learners are made fully aware of the safeguarding officers at Care Training and Central Skills should they need to speak to someone about any issue or problem.

It doesn’t matter the size of the problem, our staff are here to support our learners.

View our safeguarding policy for further information.
