We have been meeting the training needs of companies and individuals since 1995.
Since then we've grown dramatically. In 2008 we acquired a warehouse in Bilborough, Nottingham. At the end of 2009 we moved to larger headquaters in Nottingham. In 2010 we opened a centre in Derby and started working with training providers across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
The warehouse in Bilborough is called Central Skills and acts as a sister company to Care Training East Midlands (CTEM). Central Skills delivers a variety of training and recruitment services to the warehousing and logistics sector.
Care Training East Midlands' headquarters are at Clinton House, which stands in a prime location on the edge of the Park Estate in Nottingham. The attractive new premises are close to Nottingham City Centre and have good access to public transport and main roads. There are four floors with a range of facilities including a 1,650 sq. ft. e-learning centre, several multi-purpose classrooms and small private areas.
Care Training East Midlands also have a learning centre at Gervase House on Friar Gate in Derby City Centre. The premises has an open-plan area with computers, a classroom and rooms for small groups.
Our learning areas are bright, modern and inspiring. We use pioneering technology to engage adult learners in a variety of innovative ways, as well as more traditional group and one-to-one work.
Care Training East Midlands works with other training providers so we can expand the range of locations we can offer learners on our Young Person's Guarantee programmes. At the moment are working with TBG Learning in Derbyshire and OTR in Nottinghamshire.
We have strong and sustainable links with communities throughout the East Midlands and work closely with national organisations like the Skills Funding Agency (SFA), the European Social Fund (ESF), Ufi and Jobcentre Plus. Visit our partners page for more details.
Also on our partners page are the accreditations we've recieved from awarding bodies and quality standards agencies.
