Care Training East Midlands (CTEM) are funded by the Government to support local people back into work. This means we help local employers meet their recruitment needs free of charge.
We are not a recruitment agency.
Our aim is to support people into sustainable employment.
5 or more vacancies:
Pre-Employment Training with a Selection Day
We’ll work with you to create a training programme for those who are currently unemployed and meet the criteria for your vacancies.
We work particularly within the following sectors:
- Health & Social Care (including care assistants)
- Hospitality (including catering and housekeeping roles)
- Administration (including receptionists and office staff)
- Customer Service or Retail
The recruitment process takes four simple steps:
| 1 | Tell us what you are looking for in a new employee. |
| 2 | We’ll create a bespoke training programme specifically for your organisation. |
| 3 | We’ll arrange, host and market a selection day promoting the training with CTEM and your vacancies. |
| 4 | You can have as much involvement in the training and selection process as you wish. All that we ask is that you offer interviews to those who successfully complete the training. |
1 or 2 vacancies: Direct Applications
Our dedicated Employer Engagement Team works with job seekers who are interested in working in your sector.
We manage the shortlisting for you, meaning you will only receive appropriate applications that you select for interview.
Recruiting an apprentice
If you are looking to recruit an apprentice we can manage the application on the National Apprenticeship Service Vacancy portal.
We also manage the shortlisting for you, saving you valuable time and costly recruitment.
Just let us know when you want to interview and we will manage the rest for you free of charge.
Training for your new recruits
Whether you are looking for training for your new staff or current we can also support your workforce to develop their skills and gain qualifications.

We can start employees on qualifications throughout the whole year, whenever is best for you.
We will support you to access government funding and any grants that may be available to you to cover course fees.
