We are very easy to get to by bus. The nearest bus stop is Canning Circus bus stop.

     

Arriving by car

Due to being located in The Park Estate parking around Clinton House is very restricted and there is strictly no on-site parking at Clinton House. Click here for information on the nearest parking.

     

Arriving on foot

It only takes approximately 10-15 minutes to walk to Clinton House from Nottingham City Centre.

     

Arriving by tram

The nearest tram stop is at the Royal Centre stop on Upper Parliament Street.

     

Arriving by train

The nearest station is Nottingham station. It is about a mile away, a short taxi ride.


 

Arriving by bus

The nearest bus stop to Clinton House is called Canning Circus. Both Trent Barton and NCT busses go to this stop.

Parking

Due to being located in The Park Estate parking around Clinton House is very restricted and there is strictly no on-site parking at Clinton House.

Parking anywhere on Clinton Terrace without a valid permit (this includes disabled badge holders) will incur a fine. The streets behind Clinton Terrace (Western Terrace and Newcastle Terrace) are also strictly residents parking only.

Disabled badge holders

Disabled badge holders can park for free on The Ropewalk (next to The Ropewalk Pub on Derby Road). You cannot turn right onto The Ropewalk, so if coming from this direction follow the dotted arrows on the map below.

Parking for up to 1 hour

There is limited parking on Derby Road, but you can only park there for up to an hour and there’s no return within one hour. This parking is located to the left of Clinton House, across the street from Scruffy’s restaurant. Be aware that at peak times certain areas of Derby Road become a bus lane — check the signage to make sure you don’t park on the wrong side of the road.

Parking for up to 3 hours

The Ropewalk (next to The Ropewalk Pub on Derby Road) has limited pay and display parking for a maximum of three hours (no return within one hour). You cannot turn right onto The Ropewalk, so if coming from this direction follow the dotted arrows on the map below.

Parking for 3 hours +

There is 24 hour parking at Cumberland Place (NG1 6HG). This is the nearest NCP, about a 10 minute walk away (see P on the map). To get to Clinton House from the car park turn right at the exit. Walk along Cumberland Place — it will become Regent Street. Bear right at the top of Regent Street onto The Ropewalk. Carry on up The Ropewalk until you get to Derby Road. Turn left onto Derby Road and go past the Police Station — you will soon see Clinton House on your left.

Arriving on foot

From the Victoria Centre

1. From the Victoria Shopping Centre walk along Upper Parliament Street, towards the Royal Centre. Keep on the right-hand side of the road.

2. Go past the Perfect Furniture shop and the Gatehouse Pub.

3. Look to your left and you will see the RBS building. Cross the road and walk to the RBS building. Walk up the hill on the right-hand side of the RBS building (this is Derby Road). Stay on the left-hand side of the road.

4. Carry on walking up Derby Road for approximately 5 minutes. At the junction, keep to the left and walk past The Ropewalk and Police Station. Keep walking. You will then see Clinton House on your left.

From Old Market Square

1. Walk up Long Row West (Angel Row), past the Central Library. Continue straight up the pedestrian Chapel Bar and past Las Iguanas, Fat Cat and Tonic.

2. You will reach a large roundabout at the top of the street. At the roundabout cross the pedestrian crossing and head to the Perfect Furniture shop and the Gatehouse Pub.
