Central Skills, located in the Glaisdale Industrial Estate, Bilborough, Nottingham, has been developing a reputation for excellence in training and recruitment over the last few years.

The hard work to develop such a reputation put in by staff and learners was showcased at the Warehousing & Logistics Breakfast Event on Wednesday 7th July 2010.

The aim of the event was to highlight to local employers how Central Skills can serve to reduce irrelevant costs to their organisation and ultimately increase bottom-line profits. On the top of that agenda to contribute greatly to saving money is health and safety in the workplace. Everyone knows practising good health and safety not only reduces accidents and injuries, but also means less costly compensations claims and damage to equipment. Health and Safety Executives Mike Ford and Tom Devonport presented a short seminar on how to reduce costs through correct health and safety procedures.

Guests also heard first-hand from local employers about the free recruitment service available through Central Skills and how it has saved money for their organisation. Two employers attending on the day (MKG Foods and National Autoparts) both presented their experiences with Central Skills and how it made the recruitment process so much simpler and effortless for them.

Breakfast was provided before guests had to leave to return to the rest of the day’s activities.

If you would like to find out how Care Training East Midlands or Central Skills can increase your bottom-line profits through training and recruitment, please contact the course enquiries team on 0115 9599 544.
