Care Training East Midlands (CTEM) hosted the annual Care Manager’s Breakfast event on the 27th August 2009.
The event provided an opportunity for care manager’s across the region to network, enjoy breakfast and listen to a presentation from Care Quality Commission (CQC) Regional Director Frances Carey on Apprenticeships.
CTEM also took the occasion to gather feedback from the care manager’s on what they like to see from a training provider.
Here is what is important to them:
1 Assessors who are prepared to take extra time to work with learners according to individual needs.
2 Training delivered in an enjoyable way that maintains the learner’s attention.
3 Providers who are accessible and quick to respond to enquiries.
4 Reliability and consistency from providers.
5 Learning objectives explained in a clear and concise way.
CTEM are constantly gathering feedback from employers, learners and partner organisations. The information is used to improve the service even further. Employers in particular value this. Jo Walker from Partnerships in Care commented that CTEM “are extremely responsive to the needs of the organisation.” |
