Care Training hosted the Clinton House Open Day on the 27th January 2010. Guests included Jobcentre Plus advisers, representatives from the LSC and various other partner organisations.
The day provided the opportunity for guests to tour the new state-of-the-art facilities along with viewing (and participating!) with the technology used for teaching and engaging students. The technology on demonstration included the e-beam (a small gadget that turns any blank wall into an interactive smart board) and the Qwizdom kits (a series of voting key pads).
Guests were able to participate in a quiz on the Young Person’s Guarantee provision using the Qwizdom technology. This gave guests an insight into how the Qwizdom technology is used and its benefits in the classroom such as the privacy they give to the learner.
The all-day event meant the 72 guests dropped in at a time to suit their busy schedules and enjoyed either breakfast, lunch or a cup of tea or coffee. Guests took away a variety of material on the training available for themselves and their customers.
