Care Training Runs the Robin Hood Marathon
It had been planned for ages and finally the day had arrived. It was a bright Sunday in the middle of September, 15 employees from Care Training East Midlands gathered at various points across Nottingham to participate in the Robin Hood Marathon. There were 3 teams of five people. Thankfully everyone turned up, so no one had to do a double relay!

We raised over £350 for a combination of charities: Childline, CLIC Sargent and the Nottingham Wildlife Trust.

This (almost) explains the fancy dress theme of animals, which included Mariel dressed as a zebra and our Managing Director Alex dressed as a bright yellow, fluffy chicken.

The groups of 3 in the first few relays stuck together. However, as the end drew in sight the competition kicked in and everyone gave it their best shot.

Nevertheless, once the team had gathered together at the end of the marathon, they did get to run over the finish line together and receive a well deserved medal each.

Care Training would like to say a big thank you to everyone who sponsored the team.
