This information is for youth workers, Connexions advisers, youth offending teams and other people in youth support roles.
You can refer 16–18 year olds who are currently not in education, employment or training onto the ignite project. They must also have lived in the UK for three years or more, come from an EU member country or be a British Citizen.
What is ignite?
The ignite project is designed to support young people to build their skills and progress.
Our qualified, accredited advisers will work with young people on their individual journey.
How is it done?
This programme and support is tailored to the individual. It could include:
- Support to get a job >
- Interactive workshops and introductory courses >
- Getting onto an Apprenticeship >
- Guiding the young person to apply to further/alternative education >
Whatever the chosen career path of the young person, we can support them on their steps to get there.
