The Learning and Skills Council (LSC) exists to make England better skilled and more competitive. We receive funding and advice from them.
Train to Gain is the national skills service that supports employers of all sizes and in all sectors to improve the skills of their employees as a route to improving their business performance. As a Train to Gain training provider we deliver funded work-based training, such as NVQs and Adult Literacy and Numeracy Certificates.
We are an Investor in People organisation. This shows our commitment to continuous business improvement through our people.
We are accredited with the matrix Standard. It is the unique quality framework for the effective delivery of information, advice and/or guidance on learning and work.We were also awarded the National Matrix Excellence Award 2005.
Awarding bodies
We are a CACHE centre and provide NVQs awarded by them. They specialise in the fields of Early Years, Care and Education, and Playwork.
We are a City & Guilds centre and provide a variety of qualifications awarded by them, from NVQs to Literacy and Numeracy Certificates. They offer qualifications in 28 industry areas, including Advice & Guidance and Childcare.
We are an OCR (Oxford Cambridge and RSA Examinations) centre and provide qualifications awarded by them. They offer qualifications in Health & Social Care, Customer Service, Business Administration, Operations & Logistics, Leadership & Management, Literacy and Numeracy.

Volunteer groups
vinvolved Nottingham is part of a national independent charity called V. We work with them to support learners who are 19–25 years old in finding volunteer placements and completing training while they volunteer.
Inspire is a local charity based in Nottingham. They provide services and support for people with learning disabilities. Some of our learners gain valuable work experience through a voluntary placement with them. We provide Inspire staff and volunteers with a range of funded NVQs.
Enable is the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Voluntary and Community Sector Learning and Skills Consortium. We are on their website as a training provider for voluntary organisations and community groups.
Partnerships in Care (PiC) is the largest independent provider of secure mental health facilities across the UK. We support them with staff recruitment and training in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. NORSACA (Nottingham Regional Society for Autistic Children and Adults) is a charity that enables people with autism to live their lives with dignity, choice and independence. We support them with staff recruitment and training in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
We are members of the Nottinghamshire Training Network, which includes other local and national training providers, colleges and the Chamber of Commerce.
