Who is this suitable for?
People who work for around 30 hours a week dealing with internal or external customers. They need to be paid at least the minimum Apprenticeship wage by the employer.
They could be working as a Customer Support Agent/Officer, Customer Relations Officer or Customer Service Operator.
What qualification will I gain?
These are awarded by City & Guilds.

How long does it take?
You can learn at your own pace (within reason) but it usually lasts 15 months.
How much does it cost?
Funding is available if the learner is a British Citizen, from an EU member country or have lived in the UK for 3 years or more (and have been given the right to remain).
For those aged 16–18 all training on the Apprenticeship is fully-funded so you won't have to pay any course fees.
Those who are 19 years old or over can receive funding for part of the fees. Contact us to discuss prices.
Where does training take place?
Training and assessment mostly takes place in your workplace. We cover Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and the rest of the East Midlands. There will also be some classroom-based work.
What further learning can I do?
It is anticipated that learners will progress to the Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Customer Service.
